Engender Girls' Mentorship Programme

Engender Girls’ Mentorship Programme is based on the theme “Perfected Forever” and focuses on building self-worth and awareness among girls by shifting the typical paradigm and teaching womanhood amidst an evolutional world that harbors challenges of increased ‘millennial’ traits such negative exposure to digital age notions, laziness, ‘slay queens’ concepts, disobedience, disrespect, lesbianism to mention but a few.

We believe the Engender Girls' will thrive with respect, etiquette, confidence and love for education based on what is on the inside thus making them self-aware that they are B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. (Brave, Energetic, Assertive, Unique, Tenacious, Important, Fabulous, Unequaled and Loved) and need no one’s justification.

As part of our model to manage age-appropriate information, the young ladies are divided into groups according to age and grade levels. Engender Girls Mentorship will help your daughter to: -

  • Appreciate their worth in life!
  • Make decisions and set goals, keep motivated and focused on her goals.
  • Improve in school.
  • Nurture her confidence and self‐esteem.
  • Listen and solve her problems in life.
  • Introduce her to worthwhile ideas, activities, and opportunities.
  • Prepare her to explore career possibilities.
  • Meet successful people through the one-on-one mentorships – this is for the 18+ year old girls whom we attach to a successful woman within the same line of their career interest.

Engender Youth Mentorship executes transformational programmes with an objective to promote dignity and self-esteem of girls and young women while addressing their emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.

Our Partners

EGENDER's partners are instrumental in our efforts towards the girl-child mentoring. We carry out this work in collaboration with our network of individuals, organizations and charities. We are deeply grateful to our supporters in the private, public and nonprofit sectors that have worked with us to combine resources, talent and influence toward ensuring that mentoring is safe and effective for the girl youth.
